Now that we’re spending more time at home than ever, it’s important to make your sleeping space as comfortable as ever—more specifically, you need a good mattress. Not only do we sleep in our beds, but we also use them as our Netflix and reading oasis and potential work-from-home spot (guilty as charged). Our readers have had similar ideas and have been purchasing new mattresses throughout the past few months.

Using our data, we’ve determined the seven most popular mattresses that our readers can’t stop buying.

1. Nectar

Nectar is hands down the best mattress we've ever tested, and our readers are quite keen on it as well. Seriously, it's like sleeping on a cloud. It passed all of our tests—including the wine glass test—with flying colors. If you’re unsure about ordering such a big investment online, Nectar offers a 365-day trial period, one of the longest windows of all the mattress-in-a-box retailers we’ve tried.

2. Awara

While we haven’t officially tested out the Awara Hybrid Mattress (yet!), our readers are still obsessed with it. It’s made of organic natural foam and New Zealand wool, which appeals to those looking for a more sustainable mattress. It has cooling foam, so it’s great for hot sleepers, and has a 4.5-star rating from more than 300 reviewers.

3. Saatva

Saatva makes luxury mattresses that are oh-so-comfortable, though we found it wasn't the best at absorbing movement in our tests. Saatva offers a free white-glove delivery service, which means you won't have to deal with any heavy lifting to get your new mattress into your home. It’s a major perk that not a ton of mattresses-in-a-box offer. Our readers clearly loved the convenience as well.

4. Purple

Using a "hyper-elastic polymer" as its top layer, Purple's mattresses offer great pressure support and a cool sleep, which is why it’s one of our favorite mattresses. It’s incredibly soft and squishy, but surprisingly offers incredible support—it was the top performer in our wine-glass test. Purple's mattresses arrive wrapped in plastic tubing that has cloth straps stitched right in, making it easy to place on your bed compared to other mattresses-in-a-box.

5. Casper

Casper is probably considered the OG of all the mattresses-in-a-box, and our readers continue to love it. Although our tester didn’t find it the most supportive, our editor-in-chief has slept on his for years and hasn’t experienced any problems. While there are better-tested mattresses out there, Casper is still a great choice for some.

6. Helix

If you're looking for a more luxurious night's sleep, the Helix Mattress is worth checking out. After hitting the hay for many nights on the Helix, our tester had some of the best sleeps of their life. Plus, Helix is extremely personalized. Before ordering a mattress, potential buyers take a brief survey on their website that uses height, weight, usual sleeping position, and preferred mattress firmness to determine their ideal mattress. Genius, right?

7. Tuft & Needle

For a more affordable mattress, our readers love this one from Tuft & Needle. After testing mattresses, it earned our best value pick for striking the perfect balance of comfort and price. With two layers of foam, our tester found that the mattress mitigates movement well and had a good experience sleeping on it night after night.
