Texans on unemployment benefits will soon be required to apply for new work, state says
Texans receiving unemployment benefits will soon have to prove they are actively looking for work in order to continue receiving assistance.
Unemployment recipients will have to start documenting their efforts to find a new job July 6, with the first reports due July 19, the Texas Workforce Commission announced in a news release.
Lone Star Kartpark now open in Northeast Fort Worth
At more than a half-mile long and 30 feet wide, Lone Star Kartpark began accepting customers at the end of May.
Located adjacent to the Texas Motor Speedway at 3545 Lone Star Circle, Fort Worth, the complex features dozens of go-karts that reach speeds of 50 mph or more.
