Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen, a popular New Brunswick-based eatery, has opened a seventh location.
The company’s newest spot is at 1348 Centennial Ave. in Piscataway, co-owner Sean Patel told NJ Advance Media.
The restaurant, which opened Monday, is taking online and delivery orders. On Tuesday, Nov. 2, the restaurant will open from 4-9 p.m. and offer dine-in services, as well.
Tacoria is a fast-casual Mexican eatery with a menu that includes tacos, burritos, burrito boxes, quesadillas, nachos, salads and sides such as Mexican street corn, golden avocado (fried avocado) and chips.
“We’re local guys so we know this area and think this area needs something fresher, so we’re bringing new flavor to Piscataway,” Patel told NJ Advance Media. “We offer a fun, fresh experience with great food, great ambiance and great service.”
Tacoria recently was named New Jersey’s best spot to grab nachosby national website EatThis.com.
Prior to that, NJ.com’s food gurus named Tacoria’s golden avocado taco to their list of the state’s best tacos.
“A lot of people think it’s a franchise but it’s own our concept that we created,” Patel said. “So for us it’s a sense of pride, and I think people can feel that when they come in.”
There are currently six other Tacoria spots: Jersey City, Montclair, Morristown, New Brunswick, Paramus and Princeton. An eighth location in Hoboken is listed as “opening soon” on the company’s website.
