WHITEHAVEN, Tenn. — Uncle Lou’s Fried Chicken in Whitehaven is a popular restaurant among Memphians. What many people may not know though, the famous eatery was on the verge of going out of business 12 years ago. What helped saved the restaurant was an appearance on the Food Network Show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
