A local Mexican restaurant chain has closed the doors of its popular Westport location.
Rio Bravo Tacos & Tequila shuttered its 1460 Post Rd. storefront last week, according to a statement on the restaurant's Facebook page.
"It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our Westport location is now permanently closed," said the statement. "We would like to say thank you to all of our customers for constant support over the years."
The Westport location had been open since 2015.
The chain has two additional locations in the area: Fairfield and Norwalk.
Rio Bravo did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
