STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The predictions are in for 2021′s most popular baby names.

Liam is predicted to be the top name for boys, while Olivia is slated to be the top name for girls, according to recent predictions from Names.org.

Both names ranked number one for boys and girls in 2019, according to the website. Official numbers for 2020 aren’t yet available.

Names.org uses data from the Social Security Administration (SSA), which publishes the totals for the first names from all Social Security applications for births that occurred in the United States since 1880. According to Names.org, data was collected using a formula that looks at the most recent data from the SSA along with several previous years to detect any trends, while also comparing user interest from the millions of visitors the website gets each month to predict the most popular baby names of 2021.

Names.org claims that in past years, its predictions have proven to be very close to the actual rankings. In both 2018 and 2019, 9 out of its 10 top boy name predictions, and 10 out of 10 girl name predictions were in the actual top 10 once official numbers were released.

Here are Names.org’s predictions for top 10 boys and girls names for 2021.

Top 10 boy name predictions:

1. Liam
2. Noah
3. Oliver
4. Elijah
5. Lucas
6. James
7. William
8. Benjamin
9. Henry
10. Mateo

Just outside of the top 10 were Sebastian, Levi, and Theodore. Additionally, Ethan, Alexander, and Jackson also fall short of the top 10, but are declining in popularity, Names.org explained.

Top 10 girl name predictions:

1. Olivia
2. Emma
3. Amelia
4. Charlotte
5. Ava
6. Sophia
7. Isabella
8. Mia
9. Evelyn
10. Harper

According to Names.org, Luna, Camila, Penelope, and Aria fall just outside the top 10 and are rising in popularity. While Ella and Abigail also fall short of the top 10, they are becoming less popular.
