Marion County Parks and Recreation is hosting its popular ‘Kayak and Koffee’ event next weekend.
On Saturday, December 11, participants will enjoy scenic kayaking from Silver Springs State Park to Ray Wayside Park.
The event begins at 8 a.m. and is open to anyone ages 15 and up. After the kayak outing, light refreshments will be served.
There is a $50 fee per participant and equipment will be provided. Registration is also required and there are still 20 openings available as of Saturday morning.
The county’s parks and recreation department hosts a morning kayak event on every second Saturday of the month.
