Popular SupperMarket returns to Lincoln Highway Experience in Unity - TribLIVE

It’s time to travel the Lincoln Highway again for the popular SupperMarket food-and-music evenings at the Lincoln Highway Experience museum.

The weekly outdoor food festival opens for the season from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, weather permitting, on the grounds of the museum at 3435 Route 30 East in Unity.

“This is hands-down our most popular event here at the museum,” said Lauren Koker, Lincoln Highway Experience executive director.

Now in its eighth year, the SupperMarket will run for 13 weeks, through Aug. 25, featuring live music and food from a variety of area restaurants.

This year’s vendors are Aroma Italiano, Chef Dato’s Table, Connections Café, Grateful Smoke BBQ, Blended n’ Brewed and Bella Terra Vineyards. Payment is by cash only.

The musical lineup includes:

• Wednesday: Three Good Reasons

• June 9: Tim Roberts and Stacey Meyers

• June 16: DejaVu

• June 23: Detention

• June 30: Gary Stewart

• July 7: Hamilton Ave. Band

• July 14: Max Keefer

• July 21: Adam Fitz

• July 28: Detention

• Aug. 4: Tim Bush

• Aug. 11: DejaVu

• Aug. 18: Gashouse Annie

• Aug. 25: Tim Roberts and Stacey Meyers

“We are so happy that the Lincoln Highway SupperMarket is returning this season. The crowd is always so welcoming and the energy is great,” said Jane DeBone, who performs with Mandy O’Leary as Detention. “I hope that people are ready to resume some type of normalcy and venture out.”

“I love to sing songs that will engage a wide range of tastes, from songs by the Beatles and Sam Cooke to contemporary country and pop music,” said Adam Seifert, who performs as Adam Fitz. “Seeing people sing along and tap their toes to the music I play gives me a thrill.”

Admission is $5 per car. Picnic tables tend to fill up early, so Koker suggests that attendees also bring chairs or blankets, especially if they are arriving late.

No pets or outside food are permitted. Guests 21 and older may bring their own alcoholic beverages.

In case of inclement weather, event cancellation is posted on the event page on the museum website.
