Other than singing our favorite Disney songs, debating with friends and family on whether your favorite song is better than theirs is another regular occurrence when it comes to music from the Disney movies.
Well, the people over at NeoOnline have done a bit of digging to discover what the most popular Disney songs are in the world.
The team used data from Spotify to understand worldwide trends and there are a few surprises in there. Let’s take a look at the top 20

- Hakuna Matata – From The Lion King
- Can You Feel the Love Tonight – From The Lion King
- I’ll Make a Man Out of You – From Mulan
- Circle of Life – From The Lion King
- Do You Want to Build a Snowman? – From Frozen
- Part of Your World – From The Little Mermaid
- Go the Distance – From Hercules
- You’re Welcome – From Moana
- I’ve Got a Dream – From Tangled
- You’ve Got a Friend in Me – From Toy Story
- For the First Time in Forever – From Frozen
- Under the Sea – From The Little Mermaid
- Just Around the Riverbend – From Pocahontas
There are no surprises that Frozen is featured multiple times though its a shame not to see Lost in the Woods (the absolute belter) from Jonathan Groff appear from Frozen 2.
Mulan is likely appearing multiple times in the list thanks to the recent release of the movie on Disney+ Premier Access but other than that, many on the list are the ones we’d expect to see though there are a few noticeable classics missing from the likes of The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast and The Princess and the Frog.

We do know that looking at the wider 100, The Lion King came out on top for most songs featured with Beauty and the Beast, Mulan and Aladdin bringing up the rear.
